Yes. "Dentures" is the usual word, and "false teeth" is the everyday way to say it. Complete dentures replace all the teeth on a jaw. Partial dentures replace a few and keep your own.
It varies from person to person. Gums change over time, and a reline can bring back comfort. If your comfort changes, come and see us: we look together at whether you need a reline or a new denture.
The first weeks take some adjusting to eat and speak. Start with soft foods cut into small pieces. Reading aloud helps bring back natural speech. If an area is sore, call us: small adjustments often fix these spots.
In Québec, a complete acrylic denture typically costs about $1,300 to $3,000 per arch, before taxes, and up to about $3,500 per arch with premium aesthetic teeth. This is a typical Québec range, not a clinic price. You get the exact price with a written estimate at the free consultation. We accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) and bill the plan.
